What are Nervecept capsules made of?
The shell is hypromellose, which the label calls a vegetable capsule. The filler is rice flour. Together they are the "other ingredients" line on the label.
Inside is the mix of eight listed ingredients, 699 mg in all. Glucosamine sulfate is 500 mg of that, about 72%.
A plant shell does not make the capsule plant-only. The glucosamine is made from crustacean shells, and the label says CONTAINS: Shellfish (Crayfish). Crustacean shellfish is one of nine major allergens FDA names (FDA, Food Allergies). How do you swallow Nervecept capsules more easily?
Take one capsule with a full 8 oz glass of water, as the label directs. Sit or stand upright.
The label says to take it 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. The water helps it go down and is part of the directions.

- Place the capsule on the middle of your tongue
- Swallow with the rest of the water and keep your chin level
- Never take more than one a day
If swallowing is hard, ask a pharmacist before you open or change the capsule. Do not guess. Crushing or splitting a capsule is not a label direction.
How should you store the capsules?
Store them in a cool, dry place away from heat and light, as the label says. Keep the bottle closed and out of reach of children.
