How to Check a Nervecept Bottle: Seal, Lot Code and Label
To check a Nervecept bottle, look at the safety seal first, then compare the label with the Supplement Facts we list, then note the lot code. The label says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing. A lot code is a seller reference, not lab proof.

Is the safety seal on your Nervecept bottle intact?
Check the seal before anything else. The label says: "Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing."
A new bottle should arrive sealed. If the seal is torn, loose or absent, do not take a capsule. Keep the bottle and the box, and take photos. Do not throw anything away yet.
Why check at all? NCCIH warns that supplement labels may not match what is inside, and that FDA has even found warfarin in products sold as supplements (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely). A seal and a matching label are simple first checks. They cannot prove what is in the capsule.
Also check storage. The label says to store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
How do you check that the label matches?
Match each printed line to the label as we describe it. The bottle is a 30-capsule dietary supplement with eight listed ingredients.
| Check | What the label says |
|---|---|
| Count | 30 capsules |
| Serving | 1 capsule, 30 servings |
| Glucosamine sulfate | 500 mg |
| Biggest plant lines | Boswellia 67 mg, turmeric root 50 mg |
| Allergen | CONTAINS: Shellfish (Crayfish) |
| Distributor | Gex Corporation LLP, Ogden, UT |
Read the small print too. The other ingredients should be hypromellose (vegetable capsule) and rice flour. The directions should say one capsule daily with 8 oz of water. The caution line should tell pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a medical condition to ask a physician first.
A bottle that lists biotin, a proprietary blend or different amounts does not match. The sales-page FAQ mentions biotin and a blend by mistake, but the label does not.

What does the Nervecept lot code tell you?
A lot code identifies a production run. For Nervecept, the seller references are N-26/GO-6882 and N-6882-26-GO. They are not lab proof.
No lab report is published for this product. A lot code on a bottle means the seller tracks it. It does not show purity or strength. Write the code down with your order ID. If you ever report a problem, you will have it ready to give the desk.
We cannot tell you where the code is printed, or if your bottle shows one. Read the batch verify page for what we can and cannot confirm.

FAQ01
Nervecept questions people ask
Where is the lot number on a Nervecept bottle?
We cannot say where it is printed, and we cannot confirm every bottle shows one. Ask the order desk if you cannot find it.
Can I take Nervecept if the bottle seal is broken?
No. The label says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Contact the order desk.
Does a matching lot code prove a bottle is genuine?
No. The lot codes we list are seller references. No lab report is published, so a code does not prove purity.
